The Pre-Employment Card Program is a work competency development program aimed at job seekers, workers/laborers who have been terminated, and/or workers/laborers who need competency improvement.

The Pre-Employment Card is the premier and end-to-end digital skills development program in Indonesia. This program aims to complement and fill gaps in vocational education and training institutions to meet future skills demands. Since April 2020, the Pre-Employment Card has succeeded in helping 16.42 million effective beneficiaries in 514 districts/cities in Indonesia to improve their careers and achieve their business goals.

1. Strategic Planning and Advocacy Project Manager


Information:

PMO Kartu Prakerja has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Strategic Planning and Advocacy Project Manager. The role is responsible for:

Lead, develop and implement program advocacy strategies and plans

Collaborate and organize advocacy events with relevant external stakeholders;

Prepare concept notes, problem notes, background documents, scoping notes, policy/lesson lessons, best practice guidelines, and case studies to generate resources for evidence-based advocacy, and link these lessons to Pre-Employment Program Cards.


Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Sciences/Economics/Public Policy/Development Studies/Political Science/International Relations, or other related fields of study from a reputable Indonesian/International university is required.

More than 6 years experience with 1 year at middle or senior level especially in advocacy and communication.

Strong understanding of outreach at the international level.

Experience in building and developing relationships with various stakeholders, governmental and non-governmental organizations at district, provincial, national and international levels.

Very good written and spoken skills in English.

Strong presentation skills and good knowledge of general political contexts and key economic policies.

Demonstrated ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in sensitive environments is required.


2. Evaluation staff


Information:

PMO Pre-Employment Cards has an interesting opportunity for you to join our team as Evaluation Staff. The role is responsible for:

Develop a pre-employment card evaluation system

Implement different research and evaluation initiatives using qualitative and quantitative methods

Generate evidence of project impacts and benefits for policy makers and stakeholders.


Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, or another related field of study is required.

At least 1 year of substantial experience working with survey data

Familiarity with survey research literature, methods, and processes will be an asset.

Strong econometric skills and extensive experience in performing econometric analysis of survey data would be highly desirable.

Proven STATA programming skills required (proficient in SQL, R, and Python will be prioritized).

Strong writing skills and communication skills are highly desirable.

Strong communication and facilitation skills are required, as well as the ability to forge good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in sensitive environments.

3. Copy Editor/Staff Writer


Information:

The PMO Pre-Employment Card provides an interesting opportunity for you to join our team as Copy Editor/Writer Staff. The role is responsible for:

Write and edit well-researched articles in a variety of formats, ensuring that the style and format are consistent with the pre-Employment Card editorial guidelines;

Edit, revise and rewrite as needed and format to produce high-quality, reader-friendly, accessible, timely and results-based reports.

Work with relevant teams to develop graphic ideas and charts that creatively convey key messages/data in reports.


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, English Language or Literature, Communications, Economics, Journalism.

At least 2 years of substantial experience in writing and editing reports.

Strong research and excellent writing skills in English, including analytical writing skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Attention to detail and familiar with the latest trends in economics and writing for international organizations.

Strong communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in sensitive environments are required.

A high TOEFL iBT/IELTS score is an advantage.
