PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk is an Indonesia-based company primarily engaged in aircraft maintenance. The Company's business segments are divided into seven segments. The Base Maintenance business segment provides routine heavy check services, major modifications and exterior painting of aircraft, and others. The Component Services business segment provides repair and overhaul services for aircraft instruments and electronic controls. The Cabin Maintenance business segment provides cabin maintenance services such as cleaning the interior and exterior of aircraft and fumigation, among others. The Line Maintenance business segment provides pre-flight check, transit check and daily check services. The Outstation Line Maintenance business segment provides line maintenance services throughout Indonesia. The Engine Maintenance business segment provides aircraft engine maintenance services. The Other Maintenance business segment includes material services, engineering and furniture services and upholstery services, among others.

The Rookie Development Program is an opportunity for fresh graduates who are enthusiastic about developing themselves to become leaders in the Garuda Indonesia Group in the future.

The Rookie Development Program is carried out for 2 years to equip Rookies with knowledge, leadership skills and attitudes that are aligned with AKHLAK BUMN so that they are ready to be placed in companies that are members of the Garuda Indonesia Group in various positions such as Engineering, Planning and Business Support.


1. Rookie Development Program Engineering & Planning Matriculation


The Rookie development program prepares you for specialist roles across many functions in Garuda Indonesia Group, designed to create and develop highly skill, knowlegde, and attitude employees and professionals in various engineering, planning, and business support functions. You will be trained by highly experienced instructors and leaders in various knowledge aspects throughout your development journey. Starting off with an intensive formal learning followed by experiential and social learning, individual and group assignments across different parts of airline and MRO business.


Requirements :

  1. Bachelor degree (S1) from a reputable University, majoring: General Engineering or related fields
  2. Maximum age for selection: 25 years old
  3. English proficiency test (TOEIC) score: 500 from reputable institutions (equivalent test such as IELTS or TOEFL is accepted)
  4. Single and willing to remain unmarried during the program
  5. Willing to be placed according to company needs


Required Skills :

  1. Good critical and analytical skill
  2. Good problem-solving comprehension
  3. Excellent sense of improvement
  4. Excellent in communicating ideas clearly and effectively to gain understanding from peers and superiors
